Post-Orientation Party (affectionately called "P-O-P") marks the culmination of the C1 Orientation Journey. It consists of an inter-Faculty dance-off, which is a long-standing Hwa Chong tradition. Led by their respective C2 Faculty Committee members, the 4 Faculties perform their specially choreographed routine in front of rapturous crowds in a bid to be crowned the POP Champion. These dances incorporate unique elements of each faculty, ensuring that no two POP dances are ever the same. Watch the following videos to get a sneak peak of how awesome POP was in 2017!
Students are split into 4 faculties upon their induction into Hwa Chong - Ares, Apollo, Artemis and Athena. Your faculty is decided by the subject combination of your choice. Every year, the 4 faculties battle it out in a series of games and challenges - including Post-Orientation Party and Inter-class SODACHE challenge.
